I discovered tonight, the demon that I share my body with, this Rider… He was an angel, The Spirit of Justice. Sent to protect the world of man.
He was tricked… Dragged to hell, corrupted, driven insane.
His will to protect the innocent was twisted into a lust to punish the wicked.
That’s is what lead him to become The Spirit of Vengeance.
“… I was referring more to the flaming Skull thing.” He laughs a little, smiling at Kurt. The biker thing he had gotten used to but the flaming skull part of him still made people more than a little nervous.
“People will never know beyond what they see with their own two eyes. You shouldn’t allow for that to bother you, if they don’t want to get to know you anymore. However, you shouldn’t allow their negativity to stop you from doing good.” He smiled as he said.
Johnny couldn’t help but smile at Kurt, he reached carefully to pat the younger on the shoulder. He gave a softer sigh. “So… Take me to see this friend of yours ?”
Johnny smiled, Kurt had basically just extended an invitation for him to join the X-men, from what he knew about the X-men they were good people. Johnny wanted to reconnect with Kurt, being one of the positive forces in his life had warmed Johnny’s heart in a sense.
“If you want, I’ll talk to your friend Logan…I’m not sure being on your team would be good for the overall image though.”
Kurt shook his head and laughed lightly, “if you’re talking about the tough guy on a bike, we already have one in our image. So two won’t ruin it at all.”
Kurt couldn’t help but snicker, Logan had a harsh attitude but was genuinely kind but Johnny was kind and from Kurt’s experience he was never harsh or rude, only playing by the book. So if anything, Logan was “tarnishing” their image but even then he was probably the most important member.

Johnny mentally cursed himself for stating that, he sighed searching something to fix the statement, sure Azazel would have some issue with his comment. He hesitated, hoping to let the comment fade and that his lack of response to it would help. “Well, you seem happy about that.” He tried to smile, Kurt words making him feel so odd. Causing his thoughts to course… Did he ever help anyone, really ?
Kurt smiled, the man before him was one of his role models when growing up. Johnny was this hero on a bike whom everyone feared but was sincerely a good guy despite his contract with someone far more powerful.
“You should probably join our team, it’s pretty cool and maybe you and Logan can talk about your bikes?”
